Getting prices ready!!!

So Im getting the prices ready and I just want to tell everyone, everything is falling into place. I have so many things Im getting done and so many things that Im looking forward too. I see more and more that this is all from God. I went and got me a new program too, so I can do more with pictures...... once I learn how do it, lol. I dont know if I want to post prices on here or not, thats something Im still debating, but when I do post when the prices are done, you might have to shoot me an email at Shirlrach03@aol.com and I will send them to you and if not, you will see them on here!!!

Im tring to get everything ready

Ive decided that trying to get a "business" together is like planning a wedding. Alot of girls think that planning a wedding is easy and things can get done really fast, and then they step into it, and theres the little things on top of the little things. That's what I'm coming across. I knew it wasn't going to be easy, but there is so much to get ready for the first person and then the people after that. I am so excited to be doing this and following what God has in store for me, and I know by his Grace and his Love, if this is His will, things will go just fine. I want to start taking pictures for practice and I am going to do them at a good price. I talked to a photographer who is willing to help me and I am so grateful for her. She is like my blessing. I need hands on experience and she is willing to give me her time to show me. See the blessings God gives us when we do His will??? I'm going to be posting some prices here soon, so please be patient with me. I want to do things the right way, and I want your pictures to be awesome and that you love them. I do appreciate everyone who is interested and who has called or written me. So stay tuned in, for those prices!!!

Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

Merry Christmas!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas and spending lots of time with their family. It was just me, Mark, and my granpda. Its usually just us anyways. We woke up this morning around 6am and started to open up gifts. We then cooked some breakfast and ate and played with our new toys =) Then i took me a nap, lol. I was tired!! Im still a little tired. I didnt get much sleep last night. But its okay....Im going to have a relaxed Christmas with my family. I hope everyone smiles and laughes and enjoy their families presence during this time. Im going to post some pics up later of Christmas and Christmas lights that me and Mark went and looked at.

Santa is coming tonight!!!!

Santa's coming.....yea!!!! Don't you miss your childhood sometimes? I was talking to my husband today, how all year long when you were a child, you wait for Christmas and it takes forever and now it just sneaks up on you. I am the type of person who listens to Christmas music all year long. It drives alot of people crazy. Theres something about Christmas that makes all the bad go away. But the most important thing to me, is the real reason of Christmas. Its Jesus's Birthday. If you don't know already, I am a Jesus Freak. I love Jesus so much and I know I couldn't do anything without him. He revolves in my life and my families life. I thank him everyday for each and every blessing he has given me. This time of the year, alot of people, including me, sometimes get hung up in the gifts, and then i have to step back and realize what its really about. If it wasn't for my Lord, I wouldn't even have these gifts. The house I live in, the clothes I wear, the car i drive, its not mine, its HIS!!! He just lones it to me while I'm here on earth. When I go to be with the Lord, I'm not going to take any of this with me. It wont mean anything anyways. Heaven is so much greater than anything on the earth. I know I'm going to be in heaven, praising him and worshiping him and what he did for me. He is amazing!!!! If i could wish anything for my friends, i would want them all to know Jesus. To accept him in their heart and love him and give him all the praise!!!
Could you imagine being Mary? Carrying the King of Kings? Loving and nurturing the heavenly Father? She was a very special woman to be chosen to carry our Lord.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and I hope you all remember the true reason. Also, while you are with your family this season....Look around and just admire each and every person in your life. Just remember God gave you those people, even though some might just annoy you to death, lol. But they are in your life for a reason!!! Some people don't even have a family or anyone around them. Count your blessings....name them one by one!!!

Wow...2 people so far are interested in me

So in my 2 days that I have posted I have had 2 people interested. One for seniors and one for a couple who just got married. I know both of the two that is interested, so I'm excited, BUT nervous, lol. I know there is soooo much that I still need to learn and do, that I feel like I might let them down. I need to build my confidence...that is the key here. But thank you to both of them....I am getting really excited about this and I feel more and more that this is what God wants me to do. So of course I want to post some pics. I have some pics that I took randomly.

Meet Tiffany

Let me explain how I know Tiffany. I work at a private school here in Wichita Falls and Tiffany goes to school there. I have known her for awhile now and I have seen her grow up into a young lady. I feel really comfortable around Tiffany, so i asked her to be my model for a day. She was stiff at the beginning, but like all people, she loosened up and her pictures came out wonderful. Her mom and her liked them so much, they want me to do her senior pictures which I'm excited about. She will be a senior next year, so hopefully by that time, I will be more experienced.

My very first Blog

So this is my first blog. If you don't know me....my name is Rachel and I am trying to start out in photography. If you would of asked me 3 months ago that I was going to get serious in photography and maybe think about starting my own business in it, I would of laughed. Recently, it seems like God is pushing me forward into this and I feel like he has opened doors along the way. Everything seems to be falling into place. I don't know what the future holds, and who knows, I may never start my own business, but whatever God wants me to do, I do it!!!

I havent had much practice taking peoples pictures, but I did do a session on a teenage girl. I'm not confident enough right now to do weddings. I honestly don't know if I want to do weddings. I really feel more comfortable doing seniors, engagements, family, babies or anything along that line. But I am going to write more later, explaining more about me, so you can get to know me better. I'm going to post some pics of me and my husband Mark, that I took for practice that I did with my old camera. Enjoy...
